History:
Preeda was originally from Surat Thani At around 9 or 10 years old, she was put to work in the mining industry carrying supplies for workers, transporting minerals, and moving equipment When the mines eventually closed, Preeda was sent to the logging industry, where she worked dragging timber and rattan from the forests
When logging operations were shut down, she was transferred into tourism giving rides to visitors in Phang Nga However, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, tourism came to a halt giving Preeda a temporary break from work Once the situation improved, she was put back into logging for another year before finally being retired
Now residing at Bua Thong Elephant Sanctuary, Preeda has left behind a life of labor and enjoys the peace and freedom she always deserved
